Melissa Sloan, a woman from Wales, is facing difficulty finding employment due to her extensive facial tattoos. Her passion for tattoos led her to completely cover her face with multi-layered inkings. With over 800 tattoos, Sloan is enthusiastic about getting into the Guinness Book of World Records for the most tattoos.

“I’ve got three layers on my face. I probably have the most tattoos in the world, and if not, then at the rate I’m going, I probably will have in the end,” she said enthusiastically.

Sloan’s Tattoo Journey

Sloan developed a strong interest in tattoos when she was 20 years old, and it didn’t take long for her to become addicted to them. She was drawn to the art form and couldn’t resist the urge to get more and more tattoos.

Sloan’s Employment Challenges

Despite her willingness to work, Sloan has been unable to secure a job due to employers judging her based on her heavily tattooed body and face. “I applied for a job cleaning toilets where I live, and they won’t have me because of my tattoos,” she told Daily Star

Sloan plans to keep getting tattoos even as she grows older, aiming to cover every bit of her skin. “I’d like to be a record holder; it’s just something different,” says Sloan.

More Than a Lifestyle

Sloan doesn’t just casually enjoy getting tattoos; she sees herself as “addicted” to the process. It has become a significant part of her life, and she feels a strong desire to continue getting tattoos even as she ages.

She envisions herself adorned with inked artwork throughout her life. “If I make it to 70, I’ll still be getting them. Every bit of skin will be covered, even if I’m turning blue,” she declared.

She Has Run Out of Skin

Melissa has gotten so many tattoos on her that she has almost run out of skin. But that’s no big deal. She has decided to add additional layers to not just her face, but the rest of her body.

Melissa’s tattoo-filled face isn’t welcomed in her kids’ school. The school authority has banned her “scary” face from setting foot on their premises. She is also not welcome in the local pub for the same reason.

Are Eye Tattoos Risky?

Yes, they are. There are lots of things that could go wrong as soon as ink touches the eyes. Even eye tattoo artists feel sorry for every client and, in many cases, try to dissuade them from the procedure. Here’s why.
