Tesla Cybertruck owners have revealed that their $100,000 electric vehicles (EVs) are finally arriving on their doorstep — but filled with trash and covered in mud.

These reports come after many customers had to wait quite a long time before they eventually received their much-anticipated car. After waiting so long for their new cars, owners now have to deal with dirty exteriors and interiors.

The delivery of brand new Cybertrucks to their owners previously was met with various delays.

However, over the past year, Tesla officially began to deliver these electric pickup trucks to their happy owners.

New reporting has confirmed that various Cybertruck owners have finally received their trucks — only to find that the bodywork has mud all over it.

Some owners have claimed that their Cybertruck has muddy handprints across various parts of the car’s body and on its steel exterior.

Some analysts have theorized that Tesla is rushing these Cybertrucks out the door, especially because various delays have been seen in the delivery process thus far.

This may be why various owners are receiving their brand new Cybertrucks with protective film left on the bodywork and windows.

Other customers have had similar, yet different, experiences. For example, some Cybertruck owners have explained that when they received their car, they noticed muddy floors, as well as dusty interiors.

Meanwhile, others have noticed “unusual white streaks in the truck bed and a hazy coating on the windshield that obstructs the view.”

That’s not all. Various owners have also reported that they’ve received their Cybertrucks — and these expensive EVs were filled with trash on the inside.

One customer explained that they found empty Red Bull cans in various door cubbies in their car.

One customer found his brand new Cybertruck in such terrible condition, they couldn’t believe it.

According to this customer, his truck appeared and he felt as if it looked as if someone had taken the truck “for a joyride before delivery.”

So far, Tesla hasn’t officially confirmed these stories, nor given a reason for why these instances seem to be continuing to occur.

Dozens of Tesla customers have reported that this has happened to them. This issue is ongoing, as it has at least been occurring for the last few months.

    A Tricky Delivery Process

Some analysts and reporting have blamed Tesla’s difficult and stressful delivery process system.

Tesla reportedly uses various delivery centers that are tasked to clean and prep these new cars before they are delivered to their owners. Some of these delivery centers may not be accurately cleaning up the cars, which has resulted in some Tesla owners in the country having these negative experiences.

    Confusion Over Cleaning the Truck

Some former employees have also stated that there has long been confusion over how the Cybertruck is supposed to be cleaned in the first place.

The truck also takes much longer to clean than other Teslas. For example, Tesla’s Model Y SUV takes about 45 minutes to fully detail, while the Cybertruck takes about two hours.

    Tesla Owners Are Upset

Many Cybertruck owners are understandably upset that they’ve spent $100,000 for a brand-new car — only to have it dirty and trashed.

This news also comes after Tesla decided to get rid of its original pricing, as the company previously said the Cybertruck would be affordable and have an entry-level offering.

    Cybertruck Issues Continue

Since its inception, Cybertrucks have gone through quite a lot of issues. Now that Cybertrucks are finally being delivered after much delay, these problems may continue.

After all, new owners have reported that they’ve seen rust spots on their brand-new electric pickup trucks already. Others have noted that their trucks have warping tailgates.
