People worldwide are dealing with rising prices across all industries, and the food industry is no different. In April 2024, Chick-fil-A’s customers were hit with a 10% price increase across all locations, and many were unhappy.

As customers are now struggling to afford to go to fast food restaurants to eat, despite it once being the cheaper option, many are staying away from restaurants. This has left fast-food giants trying to find ways to get customers back into their stores.
Chick-fil-A’s Digital-Only Restaurant
One of the many ways Chick-fil-A’s bosses are trying to get more customers through their doors is by introducing a world-first digital-only restaurant after noticing a soar in their online orders.

The restaurant doesn’t have a seating area, and customers can only order online and then head straight to the restaurant to pick up their food, with bosses hoping there will be very little waiting times — something customers have complained about in the past.
Chick-fil-A Has Introduced Pizza
One of the new menu items Chick-fil-A has recently added is pizza. Famous for their chicken, bosses wanted to stray slightly away from this to attract more customers.

These pizzas are currently only available on the Chick-fil-A website or app. Still, with six different options to choose from, it is clear that the chicken fast food restaurant is trying to give customers more variety with what they order.
First Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich in Nine Years
For over nine years, Chick-fil-A hadn’t introduced a new chicken sandwich, which meant its customers had to live with the exact same menu for that amount of time.

However, in 2023, the fast food brand offered customers its honey pepper pimento chicken sandwich alongside a caramel crumble milkshake for a limited time. Out of 30 potential new sandwiches, this was the one that was chosen.

A year after the honey pepper pimento chicken sandwich hit the menu for a limited time, Chick-fil-A decided to update its menu again with yet another chicken sandwich.

The latest sandwich is the maple pepper bacon sandwich, and it is set to be available to customers across the U.S. throughout the summer. As well as this, customers will also have the option of a peach milkshake.

The sandwich will feature a lemon-herb marinated boneless chicken breast, pepper jack cheese, green leaf lettuce and bacon that has been hand-tossed in a brown sugar and pepper blend, and it will be topped with sweet and spicy pickle chips.
Chick-fil-A Is Testing Another New Sandwich
The maple pepper bacon sandwich isn’t the only new sandwich Chick-fil-A customers will be getting, as they are currently in the process of testing out another sandwich in participating restaurants in Raleigh, North Carolina.

This sandwich will include a boneless chicken breast, a toasted, cross-cut pretzel bun, lettuce, sliced tomato, seasoned cheddar cheese, Applewood smoked bacon and Dijon mustard sauce.
Chick-fil-A Rarely Changes Its Signature Sandwich
It can sometimes be frustrating to customers who want to find new versions of old favorites, and restaurants’ failure to do so can sometimes cause customers to go elsewhere.

Despite the news of this new sandwich, some customers aren’t convinced and are begging Chick-fil-A bosses on social media to bring back the honey pepper pimento chicken sandwich.

One X user posted asking if anyone had ever had a sandwich that was so good that it changed their life. One user quoted the post and said that the honey pepper pimento chicken sandwich was really good, with many others saying Chick-fil-A needs to bring this sandwich back.
Chick-fil-A Has Released New Beverages
Before the release of the maple pepper bacon sandwich, Chick-fil-A released some new beverages in April 2024. However, these are only seasonal.

The new beverages include cherry berry sunjoy, cherry berry lemonade, cherry berry iced tea and cherry berry frosted lemonade. Chick-fil-A has decided on these as its customers have always enjoyed the cherry and berry flavors.

As Chick-fil-A has gone so long without adding any new sandwiches to its menu to suddenly adding a handful in the space of the year, many are questioning whether this is a sign that more sandwiches will make their way onto the menu in the coming months and years.
