I began using a tongue cleaner after every brush about 12 years ago. They have always been plastic and worked fine. My favourite styles would look like this (just in plastic). I have also used “”brush like”” tongue cleaners with little silicone bristles on the cleaning face.

But this one is by far the best! Its cut “”sharp enough”” to be highly efficient at cleaning your tongue, but remains comfortable to use (just make sure you are safe to not clang it against your teeth like I may or may not have done haha).

The best part: its stainless steel! I throw mine in the dishwasher about once per week and rinse it before and after every single use with warm water and a cloth. A little TLC that takes no time at all will mean I can use this for years to come!
